Always flash your router with an Ethernet Cable !

Step 1 : Disconnect all Ethernet ports from your router .

Step 2 : Take a Ethernet cable and plug one end to your computer and another to Router .

Step 3 : Go to 192.168.2.1 in your web browser . You should be in the web configuration page .

Step 4 : Click on 'Firmware Upgrade' at the left panel . You will then be asked to enter the password . The password by default is blank . If you lost your password , put a pin into the router reset button at the back .

Step 5 : Once you are in the page click 'Choose File' and choose where you saved your router firmware's file .

Step 6 : Click on 'Upgrade Firmware' and wait for at least 100 Seconds before doing anything .

NOTE : Do not do anything when the blue indicator light is blinking .

You have successfully upgraded the firmware !

Enter a name for the connection, Click ok
Choose com port you adapter is plugged into, Click ok
Set:

Stop bits = 1
Flow control = none
Click ok
Click File - Save As, and select a place to save it to so you
don't have to enter the settings again.
